Thanks for all the help (Itsahonda especially :thumbup: ). I dropped my car off last night and they are going to look over the transmission this morning.

I am on a budget so I don't want to spend the money to do both the transmission (if i have to) AND replace the timing belt. I'll see what they say after looking it over. I took it to a place here in Denver that is not a dealer, but specializes in Hondas. They have always seem to be honost and will match any prices so I usually call around to get quotes. I think that last time I was in he quoted the timing belt around $700 with labor, but when i called around, I got him down to $575.

If I need a new transmission, how much would that cost?
