I agree also. I drove a 2006 Camry LE back in early November. What a plain car. Judging by the seats, I would have thought I was in a cheap (Chrysler) mini-van or a Chevy Lumina. The inside was so plain I thought I might be in a Ford Ranger or mini-van.
What a joke. If someone thinks they are better off in a lower priced Camry, more power to them. I imagine re-sale value on a Camry is much lower than an Accord, too.
BTW, we bought our fully loaded 2005 EX-L right before Katrina, but right when gas hit $2.55 and paid $22,900.
Price a piece of junk Chevy, Ford, or Chrysler and consider re-sale of any of them after 4 years is $2,500 and the average 4 year old Accord goes for $12,000. Around here, you can buy 2005 Taraus' for $11,000. I imagine the sticker on them was around $23,000.
