This all depends on your TV and how many HD/progressive/YPbPr jacks you have.

The DVR should have some YPbPr connections (aka progressive scan / HD). Connect the DVR directly to the Panasonic HD. You'll be hooking up 5 wires total, 3 for the video, 2 for the audio. If your DVR has a digital audio out (optical), plug that directly into the home theater box.

Your Progressive scan dvd player should be hooked up the same way.

From the plasma, take the audio OUT and put that into the Onkyo.

The hardest part is battling for connections. The last thing you want to do is plug and unplug wires when you want to switch sources.



the back of the Onkyo doesn't have HD jacks, so anything you want to be crystal clear, you'll have to go from your video source to your plasma.
