Need some help here with the following setup and how to properly wire it (1st Home Theater System - usually would just play movie through dvd/vcr and via tv speakers)

Just bought an Onkyo Onkyo HT-S580 (Home Theater in a Box)


We have an Explorer 8000 Digital Video Recorder (Scientific Atlanta) from Cox Cable

We Have a Sony VCR/DVD Combo player

Next will Purchase will be a 42" Plasma EDTV Panasonic TH-42PD50U


my question is how to hook this up correctly
