b20 block with h22 head is not really viable. you can do a CR-VTEC, which is a b20 block with a b16 or b18c head. frankenstein motors like that are not smog legal in cali tho. i looked into this a while back. there's some good info on honda-tech. basically it's a pain in the ass. the b20 in the 3rd gen leans back a bit, which makes fitment of other engines very complicated. i don't think a gsr motor will clear the hood either. i would imagine a b16 or b18c swap or a frankenstein motor would be your best bet.
keep in mind, i'm just relaying what information i've picked up so far, so i may have some (or all) of this stuff wrong. be sure to double check everything before you pull the trigger on this.
props for trying, i think a 3rd gen vtec lude would be awesome! those cars handle like a dream, and with a gsr motor in there, they'd fly!
