87 is the minimum octane level required for the engine.
**IMPORTANT**
You only need to meet the minimum octane requirements for the engine. Putting in fuel with an octane rating that is HIGHER than the minimum is NOT going to help you. It will only hurt you unless you manually advance the ignition timing of your engine to compensate for the different characteristics of the higher octane fuel.
