There is nothing wrong with block guards.. that is some kinda rumor that started a long long time ago & is false unless the block guard has so small of water passages that they almost turn the block into a closed deck situation. People are generating amazing numbers such as 400-500hp using block guards with stock sleeves & for the cost of a $75 block guard that you can install in your own garage.. the results are amazing!
Ok that's fine...Since you have obviously had more experience w/ them, we will leave it at your call. The guy already stated he isnt going that path and afterall it is his final decision whether to or not. Im not arguing with you over this and turning it into some big grudge.
