Brake pads changed !
Okay. i know it is stupid, so you all don't have to say it to me.
i've just changed the front brake pads for my 5 gens, first time in my life. everything go pretty smooth. But i put the anti-squeal( some kind of lubricate) on the brake pads surface where contact to the rotor instead of the back of the pads where contact to the caliper. After the job done, i test drive the car, i still have brake but kind of responding slow. My question is do i have to remove those anti squeeze thing, or it will dry out and i can just ignore it, ( if i just leave it there, will it harm my rotor or anything in my brake system_?). Any help will be appreciated.
