You'll never notice the difference from a strut bar unless you already have a good spring/shock combo and good driving skills. For most people, a strut bar is a "bling" accessory (and the ebay bars look rediculous.)

For the engine, trans, and a P72, yeah.

Plus shipping, about $200.

Add on all the other goodies you need to get it in the car and tune it up, add about $1000.

Plus professional labour for someone to install it for you, add $1000.

It's not cheap at all.
