Describe what happened in your scenario to pinpoint it to the cv joints please. My problem could be the exact same, but I'd like to hear another experience.

Also, I've recently noticed it happens also when normal driving and not just when braking. Say, for instance, if I was to take my foot off the gas pedal and then tap the pedal (somewhat jerk the car fowards), it would make the same noise. I also notice it slightly when I turn. I don't remember the direction I was turning, but it happened then as well.

Noise is definitely coming from the front of the car.
