It could be nothing you did. If its a paint defect, you could leave it in the garage and not drive it with the same result. My ex's was taken very good care of.... I did it...
It was waxed and cleaned regularly. Hers was determined that a bonding agent used in the paint (to get it to stick to the car) was bad, causing the paint to peel.
