I always experience the same thing in my car but the other day i was force to do a radiator flush ( due to hose braking) and refill it until it was super clean.
anyway ever since the flush when i shift from park to reverse or any gear I no longer feel the small jolt u experience.

I have no clue what the tranny has to do with this but I can tell u when shifting from park to reverse it feels the same like if u were shifting d3 to d4 smooth almost zero shaking.
Well the shock when changing gears was a little strong. Felt like a hit to my bumper by another car but at very low speed. Anyway when Honda checked the Transmission they told me that it had a problem as reported by they scanner. They put on my service receipt “Trans Diagnostics confirmed an 54 WH93”. That's why they decided to replace it under the extended warranty since my car has 96k.
