Hatch civics and crx's are both known to have very light back ends and a engine even only that much heavier will really upset the front to rear weight balance. My freinds EK hatch with a H22a swap handles like shit....and doesnt grip off the line either even with the type s LSD box in it.
Basically, if you wana make it for drag go h22a, if you want a fast road car which handles go B- series boosted. Thats my just my opinion anyway.

did your friend bother to set up his suspension to compensate for the differenet engine and weights?
