The h series uses cables instead of rods for shift linkage. Alot heavier than a b series and more money to swap in. I would go with a b16b, its not in every other hatch and its got alot of power. so like 95 civic asked; what are you plans for this car. If your boosting then i would go with an ls motor. but if going all motor the best would be b16b. imo.
Oh ya and once AGAIN it is not that much heavier..... get over that fact because its not true.... they are heavier but not enough to really matter ....
