A CTR motor is the B16B and the ITR motor is the B18C5 (USDM)
IMO I would go with a B18C (JDM GSR or Type R) or the B18C1. If you do want to go with a B16, I would definitely go with the B16A (SIR motor) The B16a2 is pathetic and is known as the "torqueless wonder" There's nothing wrong with the H22A, other than it crams the engine bay like a bitch, and it's a very heavy motor (and big) However very fast.
EDIT: What are your plans for the motor? FI or NA? That will also help in what is best for you.
