So I've owned two ludes now both if which I loved to death but ofcourse realized maybe don't hold the potential for speed I am looking for and are seemingly hard to find these days. Anyways I am considering a civic (staying true to my Honda roots) and I am kinda lost as to where to go. I would like to have say a 92-01 hatch or 96-00 coupe with a standard of course engine doesnt matter as i am sure it will be high milage and need a swap. Where should I set my sights? I am thinking the early-mid 90's hatch with say h22 swap but I do not know the true potential of the b series which i hear and read so much about so I figured I would ask the true experts on this. I know most of this is a matter of opinion but with hopes of a 12-13 second fun car I am sure you can get the jist. So what do you guys suggest. Is the early to mid 90s hatch with h22 swap and eventual turbo a good bet or am I missing something here? And yes ofcourse i will keep my lude too.. have to i love it .

Just fyi i am very knowledgable when it comes to my h series but from what I have read it may not be the best option and when it comes to b series and civics i am lost so experts help me out here .. im trying.
