The 00LS distributor is different than the 97 CRV/LS distributor because of the OBD2b and OBD2a differences...the plugs are different. Did you try just resetting the ECU? Whenever I get a misfire code, it will idle like shit...then I reset the ECU, and it runs fine...just an intermittent thing. Do you have spark? Test the wires for resistance, or throw in a new set. If you can get your hands on a spare distributor to try for free, definitely do it. You may have a weak coil that is on its way out. If you were in norcal, I'd let you try one of my distributors...I have 2 spares.

yeah i wish i saw your post before i went and did it. plugs are way different. if i had my hands on a multimeter, it would be so much easier, but i dont so i cant test shit. thanks though...
i've worked on it all day, new fuel filter, new plugs, tried using 96 LS injectors, etc etc.
