Not exactly brilliance here buddy Just use your damn brakes...it'll cost you $50 bucks and 30 minutes to replace your front pads with OEM pads. Do you really think that would be better to be without your car for a week and have to put up with dealing with the dealer, etc?

Just use your brakes...that's where they are made for.

Now if you were going down a 5 mile canyon with 10 percent grades everyday, then sure, I could see going down into D3 to avoid brake fade, etc...but for a couple hills on your daily commute, I wouldn't do it.
