My car is a 1990 Accord LX. I have the engine all apart for a timing belt 'stripping' incident so I am trying to fix little problems I have while it is sitting. Whenever it is less than 60 degrees outside, my key will not come out of the ignition after I turn the car off. If I sit there for 3-30 minutes (depending on how cold it is) then the key eventually decides that it wants to come out. The indicator shows that it is not in park when this happens. I figured this was the neutral position switch contacts getting cold and backing away from other contacts. Any ideas or similar problems?
