Please explain to me what this POWER STEERING RACK & PINION thing is you've been referring to via a diagram or explanation, I'm just confused now.

alright bro here is a pic, the red is where there is some fluid coming out so i am guessing is going bad and needs to be replace soon. everything work fine but when i look under the car u can see the fluid right away and is only the left one.
