I just got a 93 integra ls and its got a short shifter. It feels like im beginning to see problems with the syncros since shifting into first is impossible unless i double clutch or at about 2mph(which might be normal in this car).

Also shifting into second from first isnt that smooth as my shifter stops for a split second before going into the second gear and if it doesnt stop for that split second the gears grind, which only happens when im racing and paying more attention to quick shifts then my gears.
Ive heard a few people say its because of the short shifter, but im wondering what you guys think about it
