hopefully yu are getting a proper oil delivery to the solenoid, if not the VTEC will not werk, yu missed a gear/over reved and bent valves etc, hard to say, re-check the wiring, i kno a few years back , i was in the states at my cousins shohp and we were putting a H22A that i had flown in with in a 97 Accord Coupe, anyway, we took the horness off the F22B VTEC engine and did wut we could with it on the H22A because the wire harness was too diff frum the Accord. Anyway we at first mixed up a few of the plug ins , because many of the plug ins and varieous sensors around that area have nearlly the same plug in and yu can plug them into the wrong sensor and not know until it isnt running right. anyhow, maybe when they removed yur cylinder head at the shop yu took it they mis-matched 2 plugins that are similar and plugged in the same? Just a suggestion since ive had to rough it with used harnesses thru the years.Its hard to say that the ECU just decided to stop sending a signal to the VTEC solenoid. Odd. Also check and see if maybe the wire /wires were pinched maybe during re-instalation of the cylinder head at the shop.The last thing i can say is that the CAMS came off for the cylinder to be re-werked. Yu might have to take of the cam cover and check the placement and position of the secondaries/mid rockers and their placment to the mid lob of the cam, see if they are seated right, thats all i can say.Hope yu can get sumthing frum this
