I'm (finally) getting ready to do my clutch install.

I was told by a few people (one of which who installed his clutch into his turbo integra, that I see driving around fine and everything.)

That you just use 10-30 to 10-40 motor oil instead of transmission fluid...

even though i've rolled with the kid who did this to his clutch when he installed it and it runs fine, it sounds a little on the sketch side to me.

Does anyone have any enlightenment to bring to my table?
