Hey guys, here's a doozie. :crazyr:
I have a problem with the ignition key interlock - there are times (its becoming more and more frequent) that my key will not turn all the way back to the "0" position when I put the car in park. I have to restart the car, run the shifter through the gears, and put it back in park to get it to release the key.

I'm pretty sure the interlock detent solenoid is likey causing the problem, however, I'm at a loss of which component of the system to troubleshoot first. Is it the Shift Interlock Computer, the Shifter Position Switch, The Interlock Solenoid, or something I havent considered? Any ideas, options would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone having the pdf's from alldata, particularly on the shifter recall that was somewhat related, or the service manual pdf's on the subject would also be greatly appreciated, as well as any electrical and system functionality diagrams, or even a troubleshooting guide.
