my CEL light has been on for awhile, n so i jumped the little connecter under the glove box n it gave me code 54... didnt knoe what that was, bought a haynes book and i found code...*crankshaft fluctuation sensor no signal*... so i kept reeadin on how to tell if its bad, found connector to sensor n used an ohmmeter to check it, the needle moved but i dont know how to read it...i called acura dealer to see how much a new sensor was, n the person told me that its the same thing as a TDC sensor and it goes for bout 128 +tax... i was wonderin if thats true... oh i also took it to a import repair shop in my town and he told me that its a bad dizzy... so i bought me a dizzy.... is there anyway that i can get my damn CEL to go away... oh i tried disconnecting battery terminals for half hour, didn't work....or do i have to buy the new sensor... if anyone could give me more info bout this damn sensor, i would ceeply appreciate it... oh yea i forgot i have a 97 rs teg wit OBD-II...
