Hi Everyone,

Okay I'm new to this Prelude fraternity. After a lot of searching around for a track car I decided to buy a 94' (fourth gen?) 2.3i 4WS (sorry, I wanted a vtec but couldn't find one in budget with less than a million miles on it). It looked really clean and as far as I can tell pretty standard, with the exception of a big (loud) exhaust system, and drives great.

I have got one cause for concern though. On hot days after hard driving I get hot coolant coming out of the top of the overflow reservoir. There is no seal in the cap (is that right?) and it appears to just be forced out which means i have to fill it up again. The temperature gauge doesn't go about halfway, the fan kicks in periodically, the coolant looks clean and the oil looks fine. The radiator has an odd few broken veins but looks ok and the cap fits tightly.

Anyone got any ideas about what could be causing this or what else to check? Any feedback is welcome.
