Why do you need to install an MSD? What have you done to your car to make it necessary to upgrade the ignition? Stock ignition works very well, and you should not fuck w/it unless absolutely needed. But since your doing it anyways, don't forget to remove the stock coil in the distributor otherwise your gonna fry some shit up. It sounds like your off to a bad start already. If you just took the cap off and can't see the wires then I am pretty sure you did not remove the coil inside the distributor. Hash mark the top for a line up later and the distributor needs to come off so you can see what you are doing and do it right.
