I have a 99 Civic EX coupe that has a slight beeping problem. Without the key in, the car chimes when the door is open? My headlights arent on so thats not the problem.

This has been doing this ever since I have owned the vehicle (I bought it used) and Im starting to get really tired of it. Is there a door pin that went bad somewhere or something like that? I cant figure out why it chimes when there isnt a key in the ignition of the lights arent on?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
