i don't really won't to take it to a mechanic for two reasons. 1. i don't feel like paying somebody to do it, when i know with a little help i can do it myself.
2. The whole idea with this is to gain the knowledge of what to do with cars.

Everybody has to start somewhere. I got the chilton book, but it doesn't always tell you how to diagnose things. Sometimes it leaves out parts of the equation too. For instance, when it tells you how to test the fuel injectors, it tells you to relieve the fuel pressure, but doensn't tell you how to do it.
