I've been boosting now for 2000 miles, and my car works great...
Problem is, I've got a small turbo (T25), and it sucks at high rpms...
It boosts great around town, but above 5000 rpms in VTEC, u can feel the power fall off, and closer to redline, it makes almost no boost, and it's really not much of an increase if any over having it all-motor

I bought a TSI kit, because I didn't want to spend $3000 on a Greddy turbo kit, and there was pretty much no other choice for $1500. I knew about the difference between large and small turbos when I bought the kit, but I figured I'd still have more HP than I started with, but it seems this is not the case...
I have a B16A with GSR head, what is the best turbo that I can get??
I've been researching the different compressor maps, and I believe a T3/T04E turbo with a 57 trim compressor wheel will work best, flowing more than enough airflow at 8000rpms. Does anyone have any advice as to what turbo I should get.
Also, my bro is parting out his VR4 and I can get his td04-14b for like $125
I've seen the compressor maps for this turbo, and it doesn't flow as much as a T3/T4, but it's a Hell of a lot cheaper...
So, is it worth it for a 14B? Anyone running a 14B on a DOHC VTEC motor?
