Yes, Preludes, as with the majority of Honda products, are definitely reliable. I've owned a 94 Prelude Si, a 95 Integra GSR, and now currently own a 2000 Prelude SH and an 89 CRX Si. They are all exteremely reliable and will last as long as you take care of them. If I was you, I'd get either a 94 Integra LS, or a 95 Civic HB. They have a ton more aftermarket products to choose from.
