This blockage does not have to be something physical, it can be too much pressure in the bottom end (as Tony well knows). Try pulling your PCV valve out and shake it. If it rattles then it's good, if not, replace it because it might be stuck and it's not allowing the pressure in the bottom end to escape.

ahh yes, the wonderful world of positive crank case pressure, although mine was caused by jacked up rings, causing massive amount of blow-by & compression numbers well Under 100
