H22A's can be had for a decent price, usually quite a bit less than a GSR. However, you'll need axles (I'd recommend custom) and mounts, and it takes a bit of work to swap them in.

I agree, the B20 is the best swap, offering lots of options...N/A nonvtec, CRVTEC, boost, nitrous.


That's an impressive feat.. 9500 on a B20 w/ stock bore & stroke! :eek3:
It was actually an LS crank and Rods in a GSR block, .25mm overbore...but yes, 9500 rpm on stock LS rods, with ARP bolts and shotpeening. The rods are surprisingly strong.
