My M3 has a self adjusting clutch so the test I do is...put the car in 4th gear while completely stopped...drop the clutch completely. A car with a good clutch should stall immediately...if the clutch is worn, the car will take some time to stall...it will sputter and kind of move forward a little...meaning the clutch is slipping and not grabbing immediately...I guess this won't tell you exactly how much life is left in the clutch but it might give you an idea of what condition it's in. From my experience (Have owned 3 Acura Integras), Honda's oem clutches are pretty weak so it's something to definitely look at if you're looking at a used Honda/Acura.
