I'm kinda pissed because I had a '98 and my transmission started slipping around 90-95K miles. I bought it used, no certified warranty (i.e. i'm the 2nd owner)

Now I'm well over 130K and even if I showed HOA all these forum postings I made when my car was at 90K they still wouldn't give a shit.

As it turns out, I'm selling my Accord on August 4th to my mother for $5,000 ($1,500 less than blue book) mainly because the transmission. I believe I'm LUCKY to even get $5,000 (It's all stock now, everything -- from all boltons (except the helix) to the stock radio to the wheels to the heads and tails) and getting an RSX-S

So I'm kinda pissed because I could've used the extra $1,000 I could've gotten from a private party if the transmission DIDN'T slip.

I may be jumping into another bed of worms by getting an RSX-S with it's documented transmission problem throughout the LIFESPAN of the car (02-05), but ::shrug::
