the only draw backs to a sleeve type system is if the sleeve gets cockeyed...or if the shock somehow fails. Ive also heard of perches cracking, but thats certainly possible with a "full" type as well.

in terms of workmanship sleeves or "full" types are both just as likely to fail...so thats not an issue.
