So here is the straight answer to the original question.

Your Honda comes with a 36 month/ 36k miles bumper to bumper warranty.

If you bought an extended warranty at additional cost, you may have coverage on the powertrain only for as many as 100k miles.

If you bought a Honda Certified used car, you will have coverage on Powertrain only to 100k miles.

If you have a 2000 or 2001 Accord automatic transmission (I4 or V6) you have full replacement coverage on your transmission until 100k miles.

If you have a 1999 or 2002 Accord automatic (or any other Honda model), and your transmission fails near or under 100k miles, you MIGHT have a shot at getting some goodwill consideration from a cooperative dealer through Honda corporate. This usually takes the form of "labor only" for the transmission replacement ($600 - $800) while Honda pays for the rebuilt transmission.
