New Honda's come with a 3 year, 36,000 mile warranty. If you wanted to extend that coverage, you need to purchase a Honda Care package. They come in different levels from 50,000 mile to 100,000 mile coverage.
Also, if you haven't kept to your required maintenance schedule, Honda can void your warranty.
Think about it guys, IF the 00 or 01 AV6 transmission was covered up to 100K from the dealer to begin with, why would they issue an exteneded warranty, that everyone knows about, to those specific years up to 100K?
