Yeah I'm not saying it doesn't happen; There are definitely cops out there that do things improperly. All I'm trying to say is in general, they're doing something for a perfectly good, and legitimate, reason.
The one i saw run the light this morning was not on a call. He sat there a few moments, and then ran it. And this was a completely functional light, unlike the one i went through.
