With any used car that you obtain without maintanence records, you should always change the timing belt and water pump. The scheduled interval is 90k miles, so if it hasn't been, it is about time.

It is much better to be safe than sorry with the timing belt on these close interference motors that are notorious for bending valves if it snaps.
