could a gsr motor bolt into an Ls, using the ls tranny, axles, linkage etc. (only swapping the actual motor). i am considering ls/vtec but i dont like all the unreliability stories ive heard. I have heard good things about the ls tranny and the abuse it can take, so im wondering if i could more or less "drop" a gsr motor into an ls without too much other work being done. i know it probably sounds stupid, but any information or suggestions would be appreciated.
