Avoid Discount Tire Center / wheeloptions.com in El Monte
I bought a set of Volks CE28n's from wheeloptions.com about a year and a half ago and either due to volk's design or wheeloptions' installation two of my tires started leaking where the valve stem seats on the rim. I brought my car in today to get them fixed. First thing they did was break one of my undercar neon tubes. Both the tech and the manager were quick to blame me for not telling them ahead of time...but shouldn't all competent techs know that all honda/acura's have 6 designated jacking points? Two on each side and one each in the front and back. My tubes are all a few inches from the jacking points. It seems like common sense that things will start breaking if you jack up the car just anywhere. Next thing they did was scratch up one of my wheels trying to remove the old valve stem. I can't imagine what things must look like on the nonvisible part of the wheels. For $50 I would've expected better from professionals. I could've done better had I the tools to remove the tires from the wheel.
