Ok.. our garage door spring just snapped in half while closing. Now what?

I cant seem to get it open, because the remaining spring still has tension in it.. and it broke when the door was 2 inches from being totally closed.. so thats as far as i can open it. The release doesnt do anything, it slams the door shut.. and i cant lift it open

What to do now?
