I just did a search on the intraweb and found nothing that supports this. In fact, I found a bunch of stuff that says a lightweight flywheel will help reduce turbo lag. Which makes sense to me. Quicker revs = quicker boost.

As to the point where some of you were saying you can't build boost in neutral... Some cars are built that way so a bearing isn't spun while needlessly reving in neutral. Also, do you hold your gas peddle to the floor in neutral for longer than one second?
