Okay, I've got a 1990 Honda CRX SI and I'm dead-set on gettinga B series engine. My current one d16(z6?) has gone to hell and back. I've got a transmission problem in 1st and 2nd. I'm going to get a B series engine for it, B16 or B18. I've looked mostly at the GSR engine and the b16a.

What my main question is: What does it mean by Hydraulic Tranny, it has (S21, Y21). Do those stand for the transmission(s) available? If so, which is better, if it's more than one? I'm looking for something that can get me through gears fast.

Also, which engine would be better for turbo charging? I want a dependeble engine because I plan on turboing and intercooling it. I'm looking for decent power and track numbers. If anyone has any advice on my swap options, please feel free to let me know. Thanks.
