My 91 crx si hesitated and spit and sputtered on ocassions while accelertating(obvioulsy the fuel pump cutting out where the main relay was messed up). I could never figure out that problem. I even changed the darn fuel pump for no reason. It was recently hard to crank up after driving. I heard where the fuel pump did not cycle on like it should when the igition was turned on. It finally cycled on and cranked. It was the main relay. I took it out and resoldered the solder points in it. I could see where two of the solder points had seperated. Like a little crack.
