You can take it to a body shop and have them buff it out. There are compounds that should remove the glue that remains. Another thing-the area under the lettering did NOT fade-the rest of the car did. If you want a cheap possible solution try Meguiar's Swirl remover before going to the detailer. I use this stuff all the time-really does wonders. Just don't rub superhard.
