Thanks, but after reading the NTPOG review on oil filter construction & performance...there is no way in hell I'll risk my motor on a TinkerToy filter . You do make a good point, however. Apparently the newer OEM filters are made by FRAM (rather than Purolator).
I haven't dissected one yet, but given the shoddy performance and build quality of the rest of the FRAM line, I'd steer clear of them too.
