Technically, putting a Z6 in an OBD2 car (96+) is illegal. You are supposed to only swap motors that are of the same or newer year than the car they are going into. That said, the Z6 will work just fine, but you will need to get an OBD2 (a in this case) to OBD1 conversion harness and then find a P28 ECU to run the motor since the OBD2a ECU will no longer be compatible with your setup.
