type-r of course thats why its type R in less you want to totally custom build your engine from pistons to cams then it would be a waste of money to take out performane parts from type r engie (vtec is 170HP) well (type r vtec is 195HP) umm don't quate me thought I could be wrong but i'm pretty postive about this type r tranny would be best or gsr tranny would do it depends on your budget
